What is CameraCords?

Are CameraCords adjustable?
CameraCords are only available in fixed sizes.

How do I determine the size?
With a neck cord of 100 cm, the camera hangs measured from the neck at a height of approximately 40 cm (2x 40 cm + 20 cm around the neck = 100 cm).

The best way to determine the size is to measure your current neck strap. You can also determine the correct size by hanging a measuring tape around your neck. Then look carefully at the height at which you should hang your camera.

Wrist cord (in one size) 35 cm, the camera hangs approximately 20 cm from the wrist. (length around the wrist = 15 cm + 20 cm = 35 cm).

How strong are the CameraCords?
On average, a camera with lens weighs 1 kilo. CameraCords have a carrying capacity up to 10 kilos. That is 10 times stronger than the weight of a camera with lens.

How do I attach a CameraCord to my camera?
Attaching is done using a split ring. By splitting the ring (just like with a key ring), you slide/turn the ring through the mounting eye of your camera or product.

Tip: The split ring is easy to split/open by inserting something between it (for example, a cocktail stick) so that the ring remains open during attachment.

How long will it take before I receive the CameraCord?
The delivery time is between 2 and 7 days. Outside the Netherlands the delivery time may be longer. If you are waiting longer than 7 days, please feel free to contact us.

Can I also view the CameraCords first?

How do I get a discount on a CameraCord?

How long is the warranty on the CameraCords?
All CameraCords have a 2-year warranty. For more information read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Are there import duties?
Import duties may be charged when ordering outside the Netherlands. How high these are varies per country. Import duties are at your own expense.

Are CameraCords really made by hand?
Each CameraCord is assembled and tested by hand before shipment.

How is it possible that my CameraCord looks different than in the photo?
The CameraCords are made by hand, so minor deviations may occur. If you are not satisfied, please feel free to contact us.

How is it possible that the length of my CameraCord differs from the size I ordered?
The CameraCords are made by hand, so minor deviations may occur. This will never be more than 3 cm difference. If you are not satisfied, please feel free to contact us

What should I do if my CameraCord is fraying?
The cord consists of many small threads, which can cause it to fray if you rub against something. You can easily solve this by very carefully (with a lighter, for example) briefly burning the frayed wires. The threads will then immediately sear and no longer fray. You don't have to worry about the cord breaking, there is a strong wire running through the core of the cord that prevents this.

Can I return my CameraCord?
If you are not satisfied, or you accidentally ordered the wrong color/size, you can return the CameraCord. Returns (at your own expense) are possible up to 14 days after delivery. The CameraCord must be in new condition. Please feel free to contact us.
